Audiobooks are very long movies where you cast all the parts, play all the parts and narrate all the directions, just with your voice all whilst sitting down.  They are rigorous and sedentary!  I had done a few multi-reader audiobooks a few years ago, some of which were nominated for or won Audie Awards, but I started doing solo narration in 2012.  So far, Audiofile Magazine has been pretty encouraging and my very first solo narration got an Earphones Award!
